Have a question about renting, letting or the energy label / WWS? Below are the questions we get most often. If your question is not listed, please get in touch.
For tenants
How do I respond to a rental property at Goeth Vastgoed?
You can respond directly to our current listings via the website. We assess your application on suitability (income and identity) and schedule a viewing if approved. The first suitable response has priority, provided the owner agrees.
Which documents do I need to sign a lease?
Private individuals provide a valid ID and demonstrable income (recent pay slips or an employment contract). Self-employed applicants provide a recent income tax return or accountant’s statement and a Chamber of Commerce extract with valid ID of the authorised signatories.
What costs apply at the start of a rental period?
Before the keys are handed over you pay the first month’s rent and a deposit (typically one month’s rent). The deposit is refundable upon proper final delivery. We use market-rate fees with no hidden costs.
For landlords
What is included in the Goeth Vastgoed property management package?
We provide full technical and financial management: handling issues, maintenance advice, engaging contractors, rent collection and monthly financial statements. We also carry out move-in and move-out inspections and conclude lease contracts.
What does Goeth Vastgoed do regarding energy labels and the WWS calculation?
Since the Affordable Rent Act (2024) the energy label plays a larger role in the Dutch rent valuation system (WWS). We apply for the energy label, prepare the WWS calculation and advise on property improvements that yield more points and therefore a higher maximum rent.
